About the Governor for Southern Luzon Region

He is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Accounting, from the PHILIPPINE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION-MANILA in March 1993. He took and passed the CPA Licensure Examination in October 1993. As a working student, he entered SAN SEBASTIAN COLLEGE-RECOLETOS in June 1996 and finished his Bachelor of Laws in March 2001.

After taking the CPA Board Exam, he joined SYCIP GORRES VELAYO & CO. in December 1993 until October 1995 as Staff Assistant Auditor. He was later employed as Plant Accounting Supervisor at PASCUAL LABORATORIES, INC. from November 1995 to August 2001. He resigned to be able to review for the September 2001 Bar Examination.

After passing the bar exam, he was appointed as Public Attorney at the PUBLIC ATTORNEY’S OFFICE (PAO). He was detailed at PAO-CALOOCAN CITY DISTRICT from June 2002. In June 2006, he was transferred to PAO-MALABON CITY DISTRICT and was subsequently designated as Officer-in-Charge. In April 2015, he was designated as the Officer-in-Charge of the PAO-QUEZON CITY DISTRICT, the biggest PAO District in the Philippines in terms of number of lawyers. He recently resigned after seventeen (17) years of public service to venture into private practice of law


He is, likewise, a member of the INTEGRATED BAR OF THE PHILIPPINES-CALOOCAN, MALABON AND NAVOTAS (IBP-CalMaNa) CHAPTER. In 2005, he run and won as Chapter Director of the Chapter. He was later on elected as Chapter President for the Administrative Year 2007-2009. He was later on awarded as the Most Outstanding Chapter President during the 12th National Convention of Lawyers in Bacolod in March 2009.

Although he did not aspire for any elected position at IBP-CalMaNa in the succeeding years, he remained as one of its active members. He served as Chairperson of Internal Committee and member of the Executive Committee of the IBP-SOUTHERN LUZON REGION from April 2017 to June 2019.

He was again elected as Chapter President of IBP-CalMaNa for the Administrative Year 2019-2021. In April 2019, he was elected as Governor of the IBP-SOUTHERN LUZON REGION to serve from July 2019 until June 2021. Recently, he was appointed by the 24th BOARD OF GOVERNORS of the IBP as Director of the NATIONAL CENTER FOR LEGAL AID.
